ZOZOBRA

Professional Work: Baranowitz + Kronenberg

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel

November 2015 - January 2016

Zozobra, a noodle bar in Israel, is to open it's doors in Tel Aviv in the Summer of 2016. While working at BK Arch on a number of projects, I focused my attention for a few months in the design of the main conceptual and sculptural focal piece for the restaurant, what we called, "the cloud". The cloud represents the cultural Chinese dance, Yannge, a practice that involves throwing silk + reminds of happiness. Eluding to the idea of fabric frozen in time: I developed the form through various digital tools and created 3D Renderings to present to the client, as well as aided consultants in production of 3D print materials to eventually build at full scale.
